After many months of hard work and dedication from volunteers and sponsors, Habitat NL presented the house keys to four deserving families in December 2010. These were the 34-37th homes built by Habitat for Humanity NL. The four families; which include 9 children, were able to settle into their new homes just in time for the holidays. While the families were all overjoyed, the children seemed the most excited; "I am so grateful for my new home", one child said, "My mom and I only lived in a basement apartment before so our new house feels like the biggest house ever. It is a beautiful house and I sleep in my own room. I can have friends over now and play hide and seek. I want to thank all the people who made this happen."
